SPFT Club meet-up outing this Sunday 8/9 at 1:00 p.m.
This outing we’ll be fishing on the upper Mississippi. Lunch will be served promptly at 1:00 at Ellison Park near Monticello, MN.
The park is conveniently located approximately halfway between Montississippi Park Boat Launch and the Kadler boat launch.
You can put in a raft, boat, kayak or canoe at Montissippi Park and float to Ellison Park ( you’ll need to hustle) in time for lunch, or you can have lunch and put in at Ellison Park and float to the Kadler Ave Boat landing (Norin Park) in Ostego. Both floats are 4-1/2 to 5 hours if you are fishing.
There is ample shoreline fishing to be had for those that don’t have a watercraft.
