Like past years, we will be having a club meal for members at the McNiel’s cabin located at 13478 McNeils Landing Road, Maple, WI 54854 on Saturday, October 9 at 7:30 PM. Please make an effort to drop by and join us if you’re fishing the Brule or somewhere near the area.

We’ll meet at the Snake River Landing picnic area at the confluence of the Snake and St. Croix Rivers.

Lunch provided by club at 2:00.

Some members float the St. Croix River in the morning to the confluence of the Snake in kickboats, canoes, or drift boats. Others can enjoy wade fishing the Snake for nice smallies. Boats are not provided for either location, so hook up with someone who has one if you want to float. Best way to do that is to stop by the North St. Paul VFW this Thursday to see if anyone has a spot in their boat, or hook up with a member that has one.

Greg Meyer has a 17′ Old Towne canoe for someone to borrow if needed. You’ll need to transport and a car-top carrier. Need to know by Thursday, July 8. First come, first serve. You can contact him at the club email below.

Please let Tony Stifter know if you’re coming by Thursday, July 8, so he can get a head count for food.

Sunday, June 6th

Meet at the Silver Bridge picnic area where Hwy 63 crosses the Rush River in Martell at 1:00.

WI Trout – Like years past we will again be fishing the western Wisconsin streams and meeting for lunch at the silver bridge in Martell.

We’ll meet for a picnic lunch at 1:00 pm at the picnic area at Hwy 63 and the Rush River in Martell.  The old silver bridge is gone so it may look a little different for people who haven’t been there for a while. There are picnic tables but bring a folding chair to make sure you have a place to sit.

For this first meet up of 2021, Club will not be providing lunch, so we ask that you bring your own beverage and lunch.

Members usually fish on their own, then come to the picnic area for lunch. We recommend carpooling with other club members, and that you find a friend or member to fish with, then stop by for the picnic.

Seeing as we are asking for you to BYO, this event is open to all.

Hope to see everyone there.
